He holds a doctorate degree from the Faculty of Medicine, Cairo University in 2006. Dr. Kotb is a co nsultant professor specializing in endoscopic and skull base surgeries, as well as advanced microscopic ear surgeries. He is one of the best and most famous ear, nose and throat surgeons, a member of the Egyptian Society of Otolaryngology, the Arab Society of Otolaryngologists, the Society of Ear Surgeons and the Egyptian Society of Rhinoplasty.
