consultant laparoscopic and kidney transplantation surgeon at Nottingham University Hospitals in 1994. Dr. Magdy obtained the Fellowship of the Royal College of Surgeons in 1998 and obtained his doctorate in surgery from the University of Sheffield in England. He was known as one of the pioneers in laparoscopic surgery with 25 years of experience. He is the first surgeon in England to perform laparoscopic nephrectomy from a donor instead of open surgery. He is an expert in hernia surgeries and abdominal wall reconstruction.
