In 2007, he was nominated by the German Academic Exchange Service to conduct advanced research in the field of arterial occlusion at Goethe University in Frankfurt, Germany, and received his training at this prestigious German university. He was honored in 2011, 2013 and 2017 by Cairo University for his distinguished scientific research. In 2012 he was selected by the American Society of Vascular Surgery out of 4 in the world for the international grant provided by the Society &#8220;International Scholar of the Year&#8221;, hosted in three of the largest vascular centers in the United States, and honored in the annual conference for the Assembly. In 2012 and 2013 he was honored by the Medical Syndicate for his efforts in serving and caring for emergency patients. In 2014, he obtained a fellowship at the University of Cologne, Germany, in the treatment of aortic aneurysms, and in 2016 he obtained a professorship in vascular surgery at Cairo University, and Prof. Ahmed Sayed Mustafa works in major Cairo hospitals as a vascular consultant, where he performs hundreds of operations annually, including, for example, Al Salam International Hospital, Dar Al Fouad, Misr International, Al Asimah, and Capital Medical Center.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Prof. Dr. Ahmed Sayed Mustafa obtained his master&#8217;s degree in 2001 and his doctorate in 2005 from Cairo University (Al-Qasr Al-Ainy), which qualified him to become a consultant vascular surgeon.
