The Freedom Program is considered one of the largest and most effective rehabilitation programs for addicts in Egypt and the Middle East. It was established in 1989 under the supervision of Dr. Ihab Al-Kharrat, a consultant in psychiatry and addiction treatment. The Freedom Program includes (withdrawal symptoms centers – rehabilitation centers – special centers for women – a special program for students, employees and foreigners – Special Department of Psychiatry).
